About Goochi Adventures – Guided walks and Navigation workshops

The aim of Goochi Adventures is simple. To provide confidence and independence as a stepping-stone to enjoyable outdoor adventures. The focus is on beginners or those who would like to learn the basic skills required to get out and about.

Are you one of those people who enjoys nature? Perhaps this is a new found pleasure since lock-down?

Can you see the benefits of walking yet do not have the skills or confidence to go beyond the local park?

Where?

Based in Sussex, Goochi Adventures provides a guided walking service for those who want to “step outside” and simply enjoy our beautiful countryside. And, if you want to combine that with learning something new about your surroundings, we can do that too.

Perhaps you prefer to walk with an empty mind that can be filled with the ‘here and now’ experiences of every step? Either way, Goochi Adventures is for you.

In addition, you can attend workshops on walking skills and basic navigation. These are aimed at both complete beginners or those with some experience who perhaps need a refresh. Ultimately, the goal here is to provide you with the skills and confidence to enjoy your own planned walks and outdoor adventures, wherever they may be.

Well-Being

Above all, the focus is on improving our mental and physical well-being. There is no doubt that stepping outside can do that.

“With a lifelong love of the outdoors, I have personally experienced the huge benefits of walking in nature, to ease both mental and physical problems. Following a thirty year career in the emergency services, my passion now is to help others to ‘step outside’ – with confidence – and benefit from the beauty of local nature”. Andy Gooch
