Is it for me?
A hilly route across open grassland, with great views across the South Downs on clear days. Easy underfoot, with some muddy patches when wet. Some stiles to cross. There are a few hill climbs and descents – and one steep climb, so a moderate level of fitness is required.
You will hear about the history of the site of the old fort and the surrounding area, as well as learning about the wildlife we come across. Or if you simply want to take in the view, then that’s fine!
